BrDR login error message “Error retrieving database version!”
Version 7.5 and later of the BrDR software uses a new installation package with a different interface than previous BrDR installation packages. The following messages may be encountered when logging into BrDR using the username/password combinations of “bridge/bridge” or “brr/brr”. See sample “System Error” messages below:
If this happens, make sure that the sample databases delivered with the software has been installed (see below) or that the selected database in the ‘Connect to’ field on the login screen is pointing to a valid database provided by your system administrator (see below).
If the sample databases were not installed, uninstall and reinstall the software with the ‘BrDR Sample Databases’ selected (see below).
