Legacy System End of Life
BrDR Version 6.8.4 Sunset Date: June 30, 2021
Version 6.8.4 is the last release of the legacy system and maintenance, specification updates, and support will cease effective June 30, 2021. Only critical bug fixes will be incorporated into version 6.8.4 going forward. The AASHTOWare Bridge Task Force and development team strongly encourage users to start planning for the modernization upgrade as early as possible.
6.8.4 Maintenance Release 1 (6.8.4.3002) applies to the following products:
* AASHTOWare Bridge Design (BrD), version 6.8.4.3001
* AASHTOWare Bridge Rating (BrR), version 6.8.4.3001
* AASHTOWare Bridge Design and Rating (BrDR), version 6.8.4.3001
Instructions for applying Maintenance Release 1:
If you are not already using 6.8.4, migrate your software and databases to version 6.8.4 by installing from the 6.8.4 installation media and running the 6.8.4 database migration wizard.
Download the appropriate self-extracting exe Maintenance Release file for your system. Extract the contents of the file into a temporary folder on your computer.
Close all running instances of BrD, BrR or BrDR.
Run the extracted Setup.exe program to apply the program changes.
Version 6.8.4 Maintenance Release 1 uses the same database as version 6.8.4; no database changes are required for this Maintenance Release.
AASHTOWare Bridge® Design and Rating Version 6.8.4 Maintenance Release 1 - New Features
No enhancements or additions have been added to AASHTOWare Bridge Design and Rating in Version 6.8.4 Maintenance Release 1.
