AASHTOWare Bridge® Design and Rating Release Notes

6.8 Service Pack 1 (6.8.1) applies to the following products:

 

* AASHTOWare Bridge Design (BrD), version 6.8.0

* AASHTOWare Bridge Rating (BrR), version 6.8.0

* AASHTOWare Bridge Design and Rating (BrDR), version 6.8.0

Instructions for applying Service Pack 1:

  1. If you are not already using 6.8.0, migrate your software and databases to version 6.8.0 by installing from the 6.8.0 installation media and running the 6.8.0 database migration wizard.

  2. Download the appropriate self-extracting exe Maintenance Release file for your system. Extract the contents of the file into a temporary folder on your computer.

  3. Close all running instances of BrD, BrR or BrDR.

  4. Run the extracted Setup.exe program to apply the program changes.

 

Version 6.8.1 uses the same database as version 6.8.4; no database changes are required for this Service Pack

AASHTOWare Bridge® Design and Rating Version 6.8 Service Pack 1 - New Features

 

The following enhancements and additions have been added to AASHTOWare Bridge Design

and Rating in Version 6.8.1:

  2. Bridge Copy/Delete/Replace utility

 

AASHTOWare Bridge® Design and Rating Version 6.8.4 Maintenance Release 1 - Resolved Incidents

The following Support Center incidents in the AASHTOWare Bridge® Design and Rating Technical Support website are addressed in this release:

  1. BRDRSUP-757 - The LLDF for entire box by adding the values established for Web is not correct

  2. BRDRSUP-854 - LRFR spec check error for 3D FEM analysis

  3. BRDRSUP-861 - Rebar Schematic of MCBOX does not automatically updates as soon as rebar is entered and APPLIED

  4. BRDRSUP-871 – Lane type legal load

  5. BRDRSUP-897 - LRFR - LLDF generated for RC tee is incorrect

  6. BRDRSUP-900 - Failed to complete the 3D finite element analysis for curved steel bridge
