  1. After completing the analysis, click on any member alternative, then click the “Save Results” button. This will save the tabular results (rating results summary, and dead and live load effects). After clicking “Save Results”, the save will show up when you click “Analysis Events”.

The bridge workspace can now be closed.

  1. Whenever the bridge workspace for this file is opened again, select a member alternative.

Since analysis events have been stored in the database, the “Analysis Events” button will be enabled.

Click “Analysis Events”, choose one of the events and click “Set as current”:

The word “Current” will then appear in the left-most column:

  1. After setting the current analysis event, click “Close” on the Analysis Events window. The “Tabular Results”, “Specification Check Detail”, and “Results Graph” buttons will activate. Clicking on “Tabular Results” will show the results for the selected Analysis Event (a run using the LRFR Design Load Rating template was selected, so only the HL-93 results appear here):

Dead and Live Load Actions are available as well. Clicking on “Results Graph” will allow dead and live load effects to be viewed in a graphic plot as well as tabular format:

  1. NOTE: The “Specification Check Detail” button is active but does NOT necessarily correlate to the Analysis Event selected. Clicking on the “Specification Check Detail” button gives the results for the last analysis performed. Clicking first on “Engine Output” will show the date and time stamp of the last analysis:

To verify this, close the “Engine Output” window, then click on “Specification Check Detail”. Choosing an analysis location in Stage 3, look at a “General Rating Factor” specification check. For the example shown here, the last analysis run was done with the LRFR Legal Load Rating template. The “General Rating Factor” output shows rating factors for all the legal loads, not just HL-93 as was shown in the tabular output:

This output may no longer appear in future releases because it is potentially misleading due to it not being associated with the Analysis Event that was loaded.

  1. In summary, clicking on “Save Results” will save the rating summary and force effects for an analysis run. By saving and loading an “Analysis Event”, the “Specification Check Detail” for the last analysis run will also be available.
